I love the scene with the crime boss who gets out of his truck with Strokin by Clarence Carter blasting in the background.

That song playing over the end credits was hysterical to me for some reason.

Just watched it. LOVED this one. It reminded me a lot of "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead", but funnier.

Finished it last night. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes southern gothic. There are some dark comedy aspects too - just about everything Thomas Hayden Church says.

I just finished watching this with the roommates. Our collective minds are blown. I can't stop laughing at this movie. I think I might have to buy it just so I can show it to everyone I know. "Your mascara is running."

I had trouble enjoying it because of how hard it was working on it. It was only the 2nd movie I've worked on that I've actually seen and will probably be the last. I will say the combination of Billy Friedkin, Caleb Deschanel, and Tracy Letts along with great performances is why that film is so well received. It's a shame how low the budget was. The next movie I did starred Miley Cyrus and had a budget around 60 million, I believe. The industry is so fricked right now. The only thing I'll give them is that Killer Joe was never going to make a frickload of money. But the Miley Cyrus did worse.
