That title went to Tiffany Haddish.

All she did was come on stage drunk. I don't recall any real material from her. The interaction with the guy in the front was funny but that's about it.

We were not familiar with him before that show at all. Went back and watched his stuff since then though.

Yeah. I'd never seen Martin get upset with anybody but that was a legit funny interaction.

And then William messing with him and getting him flustered a bit was gold William was great last night

Williams sets are always just ok to me. He never bombs, but never blows me away either. He shines when riffing during the interview, and just about kills every time. His stare down with Chad was hilarious

quote:

But Ben’s robbery story was the highlight of the show bring that dude back until he runs out of stories

I like that it seemed at first that the only 2 interesting things he had to say was that he used to hang with the night stalker and grizzly man. Tony had to absolutely pry it out of him for anything else, and it's just like "Oh yeah, there was that armed robbery thing I did" then goes on to tell an insane story that you really can't help but believe is true. At 73 and having been a heroin addict for decades, he must have countless crazy stories. They should do a monthly segment with him to do a bit about one of his stories, then tell the whole story during the interview.

Agreed Williams stand up reading from the card jokes aren’t that funny but his mannerisms help make them funnier than they really are. His interactions and ability to tell stories after his joke set are his bread and butter.

That's the thing with William. How long has he been doing (mostly) new material and bits every week on KT? He's not going to always kill, but his ability to bomb and still get laughs, and always give a great interview are why he'll be with them until he either falls off the wagon and his heart explodes or he just decides to leave.

It is interesting to see people's reaction to William. To the ones who don't get it, then shite all over him I'd just say, "You go up there and do what he does without being heckled and booed off the stage." Most can't and would never even try.

The raisin bread bit and when he had the sack full of fortune cookies with jokes printed on the fortunes are my favorites. And, "A two foot fricking squirrel? It's a thousand bucks!"

I've fallen a little behind, so I've been avoiding this thread for the chance of spoilers. I'm just now watching the William / "Gary Falcon" episode.

I can't belive no one commented on how hilarious Nick Swardson was. One of the best guests ever, and perfect for this show. Calling Drew Nickens "Logan Palsy" is perfect, and when the one pull said he watched a guy die in his yard when he was 8, busting right into singing "I just died in your yard tonight."

Yeah, that was great!

Was weird that he left before the show ended because he allegedly had to take a shite.

Tonight is Jordan Peterson, Tyler Fischer, and Kim Congdon. I'm curious to see how Peterson handles this.

It was. That guy killed it.

I’m halfway through and the bucket pulls have been pretty good. Decent panel banter too.

I had never heard of Tony or the podcast before seeing the Gillis/Trump episode. I laughed my arse of at Gillis. It was gold. Then I watched Tony on the Tom Brady roast and he fricking killed it.

I've scanned a few episodes since the Trump one, but it has quickly lost my interest. The same old people that come out every week just aren't funny to me. Sure there's always a funny one or 2 that interact with the panel, but for the most part the show is just boring to me.

Hans Kim is not funny, the fat black guy that roasts everyone says the same shite every time, and the red headed crazy guy isn't funny either.

I don’t know man. I’m not a big Hans Kim fan either, but he’s barely been on the show at all this year. I like the show as a whole, week in and week out. They hit way more than they miss. It may just not be for you.

If you want to check out some top tier episodes, I would check out any with Harland Williams, Sam Tallent, or Adam Ray (as himself or Dr Phil). Skip any shows they do in theaters or arenas.

I agree with this and add in a couple Theo Vonn's.

Hot Take: While I geneally like his standup. I think David Lucas's roasting is highly overrated. Tony loses his mind over retarded roast jokes that make zero sense. It almost feels like a white dude that hasn't spent any time around black dudes and just gets off on the delivery and cadence.

It always makes me chuckle when they are roasting each other, but I get it.

Tony says he grew up in a mostly black neighborhood. I like the back and forth between him and Tony but it’s mostly because I find two buddies just saying dumb shite to each other funny. Also, David Lucas is rarely on the show now

I would never tell anyone what they will or will not like but I will just say that I was pleasantly surprised by the most recent PPVs at MSG with them having a Legends Bucket to pull from

I thought so too. He spoke up plenty, asked good questions, and had some funny comments. Loved the switcharoo at the end too.

Great episode, especially for a 3 person panel. All of them were great.

Whitney Cummings is the guest for the show tonight. This is the show I went to. I thought it was a solid episode in-person. There's an incident toward the beginning that happened right next to me that they made end up cutting some or all of it. I'm anxious to see what they decided to do.

I saw Whitney May 31 in Biloxi.

Can't wait to see this episode.
