During the commercial break on KT+, Tony said to “watch out for the ice protestors, or as we call them, faggots”

Holy shite. That bumper sticker joke had me laughing as hard as ever.

I'm just past Ahren's set. Pretty good episode so far.

Pauly was kinda dreadful. I'm hoping Tony's opener had to bail last minute so they asked Pauly if he could go up there and do a minute.

He actually was pretty funny last night. I might go see his standup.

He really stunk it up. I don’t think he’s ever had a good appearance on KT.

This was a pretty middle of the road episode. Some great sets mixed in with a bunch of stinkers.

Even Pat O’Neil had a subpar set, but he earned the right to be forgiven for it.

I have tickets to see him this Friday at the Pink Flamingo in Houston. Looking forward to seeing a much longer set from him.

I’m curious to see how Pats comedy works in a longer set. Please update us on how the show goes. Ari Matti is also in Houston this weekend. Maybe at the Improv?

I thought the only decent bucket pull was Jeremy the anesthesiologist.

"I think the Netflix logo would have worked better for BET."

People gasped and loved it, but this one is totally over my head. What's he talking about?

The joke is flawed because many don’t think of the above when hearing “Netflix logo”

Ahhh. Ok.

Yea, I was thinking of the logo that spelled out Netflix with the slightly arched font.

The comedians at Pink Flamingo had all been bucket pulls on KT.

The host was some young chick. For a female comedian in a small venue, she was probably above average.

The first opener was Collin Sledge, who won a golden ticket and I’m sure we’ve all seen him in 5 or more appearances since then.

I probably had more “man, that’s fricked up” type of laugh out loud moments than with any opener I’ve seen in any comedy club.

Mike Ryan has had a few appearances on KT, most of which were forgettable. Here’s one of his better appearances Youtube Link

The only reason I remembered him is because he was still wearing that stupid neon flamingo shirt he wore during his last appearance. During his most recent KT appearance he plugged his newly opened comedy club (Pink Flamingo) and mentioned that Pat O’Neil had sold out all shows. As an opener for Pat he didn’t get many laughs but had a great closer.

Half the crowd gave Pat a standing ovation when he was introduced. I’m pretty sure he used every joke from every KT appearance. A few of them led to the crowd finishing the punchline. He didn’t seem to relish in it the way that Andrew Dice Clay did. He appeared a little bothered by it and said he won’t be doing that joke again for one of them. He had a lot of new material and the crowd loved all of it. I was impressed with his quick hit style of 2-3 setup lines before the dark punchline, as well as the way he strung them all together.

I think he had a good 45 minutes of material, most of which made fun of racism, antisemitism, sexism, LBGTQ, pedophilia, and embraced his dark soul. So all of it was hilarious and would piss off the blue hair pussy hat crowd.

He’ll definitely be at the Houston Improv for his next non-KT appearance, so I’m glad I had the opportunity to see him in a much smaller venue.

Next up: Will take the wife to see Andy Huggins at the Punchline (formerly part of House of Blues) next week. He was probably the most elderly comic ever on KT and relies on a lot of clean one liners, which is more of my wife’s speed.
