I know I'm in the minority but I enjoyed 2 more than 1.

Does Karate Kid 3 have Peter Cetera’s masterpiece “Glory of Love”?

Terry Silver is supposed to be Kreese's buddy from Nam. The actor who played him was six months older than Macchio. The actress who played Macchio's "love interest" was eleven years younger than him. Since she was 16 and Macchio was 27 they had to re-do the script because this wasn't a Luc Beeson movie. Why they didn't just cast a 20 year old, who knows.

No, terry Silver was interesting..
But not near as interesting as Sato. He had the history with Miyagi, he was the only other true master of Miyagi-do....and from what I gathered, I'm kinda sure he had a hand in training Scorpion from Mortal Kombat at some point.
Chozen was more of a threat than Johnny or Barnes. Death was glorious in his eyes, and he very well may have been on the national level in America up there with Barnes knowing what he knew, but he didnt fight for points.
Kumiko was hotter than the redhead
And the scenery was better

The worst thing about 3 is that dumbass rule about the defending champion getting to skip all the way to the championship. Daniel won the whole tournament with one damn point. Ludicrous. Daniel also appears to have regressed since the first two films because he was slapped around like a bitch the whole movie. I can understand Barnes being better, but damn, Daniel was no challenge at all except for the last moment of the movie.
I did like Miyagi vs. Kreese and Silver, though.

Terry Silver needs to be in Season 3 of Cobra Kai, that’s all I know.

You shouldn’t even be posting here to ask that question.

1 vs 2 is a tough call. 2 had much more going on and the stakes were higher, but 1 was such a solid albeit basic storyline.

So it’s still debatable then? Lol
2 has a lot of slow parts and is shite for rewatch value IMO.
Have a good night guys. Thanks for the insight.
