Just watched Charlie Brown Thanksgiving..WTF I never noticed they didn't invite Lucy

i mean i've watched this show 1,000 times or more and never noticed.
Did Linus frick her over by not telling her about the party? Where is Lucy? Was Linus pissed about the way she treated him at Halloween? Did Peppermint Patty decide to take over for her as a gigantic bitch after Charlie Brown & Snoopy worked their asses off to make Thanksgiving lunch?
And why was Snoopy popping popcorn over a firepit and not telling anyone he had an entire turkey cooking 10 feet away in his doghouse while Peppermint Patty was freaking out?
Did Linus frick her over by not telling her about the party? Where is Lucy? Was Linus pissed about the way she treated him at Halloween? Did Peppermint Patty decide to take over for her as a gigantic bitch after Charlie Brown & Snoopy worked their asses off to make Thanksgiving lunch?

Linus knew that Peppermint Patty just invited herself and a couple friends over. He knew the dilemma that Charlie Brown faced. Inviting Lucy over would have made it 10 times worse. Linus is smarter than that.

3 open spots, actually. But again, Charlie Brown didn't even want to do the "meal" in the first place. But he's too wishy-washy to tell Peppermint Patty to frick off. So he went through with it as best he could....no reason to spread the disaster to more people though.
