while there are no spoilers in this post let's remember the op is still in season one. let's not accidently spoil stuff for him

Eh? There's nothing remotely spoilerish in there. Clearly, after Episode one, you know the main characters are Olivia, Peter and Walter. That's not hard to deduce.

Am I the only person who quit in season 2 out of sheer boredom?

This easily fixable plotholte really turned me off to the show

I kept watching but couldn't get that mistake out of my mind. I felt if the writers were getting THAT lazy that early I was out.

The OP needs to

Before he gets spoilered. Not a jab at you Freaux, nothing you posted is spoilerish but people just like to spout off too much about the show and someone will eventually let lose a big spoiler.

this is exactly what I meant. there was nothing in your post that was spoilerish freauxman. it just seemed like a initiator that could lead to someone taking it further and discussing stuff

It was just poor editing on their part. That's all.

If you don't want to have the show spoiled.

It is one thing to follow along a new show in a thread. A whole different dangerous game to start an in-game thread on an old show.

nope, but it gets significantly better from season 3 on.

took me 3 tries even as someone who enjoys the overall setting of the show to get through to season 3. the monster of the week crap made it hard to start the next episode. this last time i watched the first 2 or 3 episodes of season 1 then skipped to 17 or 18 and did some skipping in season 2 as well. made it much more enjoyable because i wasn't watching 20 episodes of filler. that said from season 3 on they really got going and i blew through those seasons.

BTW there is another rather jolting WTF moment if you are watching on netflix. they show an unaired episode from season 1 during season 2 with no warning(shows how filler that shite was) with a character there who shouldn't be there. leaving that as unspoilery as possible.

Noticed that too. I was thoroughly confused. Had to pause the episode and hit up wiki to calm down.

Also - don't abandon thread, nothing should get spoiled, the Fringe watchers are typically good about not spoiling stuffs
