They did that when it aired live too. It pissed a lot of ppl off.

I watched the season finale of season 1 first, then over the summer watched the rest of season 1. For some reason this really caused some strange things to happen, and I never even noticed the episode in season 2 until something like 2 weeks later.

P.S: It wasn't until season 3 that I started watching Fringe with a fine tooth comb, and became obsessed with Serial TV

I have a similar MO. I am the ultimate: could care less about spoilers. I watch any production for enjoyment of the story, acting, character interaction and directing. I have even checked out finales of TV shows to determine if it's worth my time investment. For instance, the finale of Six Feet Under was one of the main reasons I got interested in that TV show.

I refuse to even think about entering a Thrones thread because the book spoiler people are so bad.

Course it doesn't matter because I was spoiled last season on a NEWS site with the spoiler in the Subject title and another site did the same thing this year so from now on I have to watch week to week instead of all at once at the end of the season.

just finished episode 11: Bound, where Olivia gets the spinal tap and they capture Mitchell Loeb the "double agent." I use quotes because it seems he couldve actually been good.

I believe this is the midpoint of the season. The tone of the show is magnificent. You really dont know anyones end game and feel as confused as the main characters at times.

my suspicions to this point: broyles is being played. he thinks he is working for the good guys but is being manipulated along with most of the FBI. probably by massive dynamic, who have some kind of "evil plan."

Olivia is slowly starting to realize she may be helping the wrong side of things. Perhaps John Scott wasnt bad?

I also got to meet Olivia's sister. seems pretty worthless right now. sure with the nature of the show, that will change.

Why?

I like pretty much most Fantasy / Sci-fi that is well acted and has an actual plot without 10000s of inconsistencies.

first complaint of the show: the god damn tank

this thing is "super dangerous" "irreversible effects" "wont recover"

in the first 13 episodes Olivia went in like 5 times. super over played to the point of annoying.

I agree. Look past it though. You'll forget about it soon enough.

definitely hitting the meat and potatoes of season 1. damn this show is addictive and so well crafted. just finished the big david jones episode with the manifest and the tests.

my initial guess is the massive dynamic guy wrote the manifest. starting to wonder massive dynamics role exactly. they seem to be at the heart of this "resistance." perhaps walter was actually the evil one back in the day and he just doesnt know it. maybe thats why the guy at the psych ward tried to trap him there again. and why massive dynamic seems to be opposed to Walter

the show is definitely taking off now!

eta: is there a connection with "farnswoth." both astrid and the professor from futurama have this name. not a coincidence.

Just finished what I guess was the finale entitled "theres more than one of everything." Netflix lists it as the second to last episode of the season, with one entitled "unearthed" as the last one in season 1. I started to watch it and realized it couldnt possibly take place after "theres more than one of everything," so that was a bit jarring.

but holy shite, did that finale deliver! the series is such a crazy ride. so Peter was taken from the other dimension by Walter since his son died. I still dont fully understand David Robert Jones. I assume he is "good" since he seems to be part of this resistance, but what exactly was his end goal im not sure. very weird.

Spock as William Bell seems like this alternate reality will be the main focus moving forward. cant wait to see what else this show has to offer!

Hey now, Battle Galactica only had like 15 inconsistencies....

I know, you liked it until the finale.

Bumping because I dont want to "infringe" (pun intended) on the rewatch thread. i am now 7 episodes into season 4.

Season 3. WOW! I literally couldnt stop watching. every episode ended and I had to keep watching. Just an incredible, incredible season overall.

Now im on season 4. Have to say I'm pretty bummed right now. I really dont care for this "lost" Peter story thats going on. The Peter and Olivia relationship was really driving the series for me and they give me what like 6 episodes then POOF frick it. It also feels cheap. Like heres everything you just sat through, and now its gone.

I'm sure itll all get explained and righted, but it's gotten very frustrating instead of intriguing. It is incredibly well written and structured though.
