I liked Argo a lot but how the hell did it beat SLP for best picture? It was good, but not that good.

Picked it up.at RedBox Tuesday and I thought it was very
Good as well.

The Chris Tucker drop ins were perfectly timed comedy relief and not overdone.

J Law is so fricking hot. Whew. She sho do have some bouncy boobies.

Coop had a very good performance as well.

I fully agree with this.

They were not as bad as they could have been, that's for sure. I'm still not sure they added much to the movie and it's one of my minor quibbles with the movie which I though was still very good. Just not quite in my top 5 for the year. It WAS better than Argo though which was decent but not best picture material really.

And I really don't care who won between Lawrence and Chastain, both gave great performances. And DeNiro gave one of his best performances in a while which was nice to see.

Well said! This was one of the few movies I've seen lately that made me feel like my 8 bucks was well spent. Comes out on DVD/Bluray soon and plan on purchasing it as well. Jennifer&Bradley were a great combo.

I know I'm a little late to the party. I watched it last night and thought it was pretty good, although I wasn't "blown away" and didn't think it was "amazing" like some others thought. Personally I thought DeNiro gave the best performance, although all-around the cast was great. I'd rank it #3 of my favorites for the year, after Django Unchained and Beasts of the Southern Wild.

Just watched. Loved it.

There is just something about a hot girl who is a little crazy and aggressively pursues. Those girls do something for me. I find I'm attracted to the damsel in distress type, and that was a definite theme. Lawrence hit that girl nail on the head. Doesn't hurt that she's highly attractive.

I could watch De Niro all day.
