I'd give her some of my Monkey Trouble.

That is also a Christmas movie.

Kinda like how I watch life of Brian every Christmas AND Easter.

I find I can't look away from SJP in every scene she appears.

Great movie. I try to watch it every October.

The scene that always bothered me though was in the beginning when Max was in his room daydreaming about Allison and her yabos.

His little sister is hiding in the closet. He's a teenage boy daydreaming about a girl. What if he'd whipped it out and started furiously punching the clown? It would've scarred that girl for life.

This is called "go-time" in Arkansas.

She put off the "dumb, ditzy, sexy" vibe quite nicely in this movie.

Well that might take me a few tries but I don’t think that will be a problem.

This is honestly up there with The Princess Bride in terms of widespread adoration among people my age, where saying it's just okay or, god forbid, that you don't like it makes it seem like you're just being contrarian.

I didn't watch it growing up so it has 0 nostalgia factor, but my wife puts it on for background noise almost every time it's on TV.

Last Halloween, my city had some of the actors from the local theater dress up as the Sanderson sisters and heckle passersby.

I watched this for the first time recently. I don't understand the love at all. It is not good, even from a nostalgia point of view.

This movie made me realize that while Sarah Jessica Parker is butt arse ugly she can actually be kinda hot....by witch standards of course.

How could it have nostalgic value for you if you just saw it for the first time.

So we were supposed to watch it last night, but we had a lot going on and my son's bed time is around 8:15 and we just didn't have time. He got mad, so I showed him the preview on prime video.

It was so nostalgic just to see how old previews used to be. Not specifically this preview, but in general. It was so 90's. Reminded me of getting a VHS and actually watching all the previews because it was too annoying to actually fast forward the tape. Plus the quality is just 90's-esque. It's a good kids movie that parents can tolerate. Especially if they enjoyed it as kids.

I'm not a huge fan of it either. It's not bad, but I've never been a big fan of Bette Midler and when SJP is "the hot one" in a movie, yeesh.

Such a funny movie. I love when they meet the old man in the devil costume.

“Master!”

Walks in kitchen: “a torture chamber.”

I haven’t seen it in years but it’s burned in my head. We have it on dvd. My wife and kids have never seen it, might change that this weekend.
