As a comic book guy, I thought it was a great finish to a fun series. Makes me sad to think I won’t ever see some of those characters again.

There’s so many great things about this show.
The great dialogue amongst the team, one liners, jokes, serious explanations and heartfelt conversations.
FitzSimmons is one of the most shippable couples ever and they went through so much struggle to get their happily ever after.
Skye going to Daisy and then going to Quake. Going from criminal hacker living in a run down van in an alley to Deputy Director of SHIELD with superpowers and a martial arts ability that would impress Captain America and living life with a sister and man she loves dearly. It’s a nominee for the best character development in tv history.
Coulson being the moral rock and heart and soul of the team and the great father/daughter relationship he had with Daisy.
The secret SHIELD locations, vehicles, aircraft, weapons, and personnel.
Great storylines in their struggle against the villain of the season.
But the one thing that shook me to my core about this show is Grant Ward’s betrayal. I’ve never gotten over Ward being Hydra and that epic nuclear bomb of a reveal when he shot Victoria Hand. I never saw that coming. And then that coldheartedness when he sent Fitz and Simmons to the bottom of the ocean with a nonchalant face while the begged and pleaded for mercy was one of the most evil things I’ve ever seen.
I’ve never been pissed off about a character/villain as I was about Grant Ward.
Grant Ward’s betrayal is one of the best storylines in the entire MCU.

The season where they bring back the space monster guy who posseses Ward and and have to fight him and also the framework episodes were so fricking good.
Possessed Wards final few lines dialogue and death is incredible villain development - some of the best ive ever seen or read.

I thought framework Ward was also great, it was nice to see what a great human be8ng he could be or would have been, particularly if Hand had gotten to him instead.

It took a little time to get going with the Hydra reveal really being a fulcrum. Season 3 onward this show was spectacular and constantly tried to outdo itself. I cared about every single one of the main characters and will miss them.
Long shot I know and many would want the Netflix characters first, but I would really love for Daisy to find her way to the MCU proper. Maybe a Disney+ show and team up movie or something.
