Joker: Folie a Deux (Spoiler) review from That Star Wars Girl...

For those of you (like me) who have no longer any interest seeing this movie after reading the reviews and finding out about how Todd Phillips hates the character and the fans of said character, here's a spoiler review of the film from a person who has seen it:
Here's the gist: Harley breaks up with him when she realizes he can never live up to the image of him that she had built up in her mind. At the end of the movie a crazed fan, who also finds out Arthur Fleck is just a loser who can never possibly live up to the image of the Joker, shoots him dead - removing the potential for future sequels.

It is common practice on this board to create separate threads for spoilers. Many of us almost got completely banned (some did get banned) from this website for simply posting AT ALL in the Walking Dead "no spoiler" threads even after the show had completely deviated from the comic books.

Based on the alleged ending posted in op, sounds like Philips followed a pretty straight line from the ending of the first one...
Neither he nor Phoenix were interested in doing this again. Removing the possibility of a sequel in such a scenario would always be considered a good thing, unless fans had been poisoned by stupid internet takes before having a chance to see the movie.

If you think shooting him dead means he's really dead, you're sadly mistaken.

Me speaking personally, would prefer the shitting on bad movies to be in house on this board amongst our community and not outsourced by linking to the right wing grifter flavor or the week ( and this is coming from a guy who votes right wing). You can love a movie or hate it that’s what this board is for, but enough of these hacks.
If I never see another Nerdrotic/critical drinker/Star Wars girl video posted on here ever again it would still be too soon.
