How in the frick did he sign off on this crap? Did he forget about the movie he just directed two years ago? He consented to the destruction of his own plot points. Ep. 9 will probably be more of the same, unfortunately.

I don’t know how he feels on the political spectrum.

But I’ve seen environments where people shut the frick up because there is no way to win, and they don’t want to get blacklisted on top of it for not toeing the line.

You know Executive Producers don’t have much to do with the actual production of the movie, right? It’s more of a courtesy title or someone who finances the movie. Christopher Nolan was the executive producer for Batman V Superman, and aside from hacks like David Goyer trying to emulate him, he really had nothing to do with that movie.

Yeah, I see what you mean, but I just have a feeling that he’s not going to try and repair the damage this movie did.

I know this will never happen, but we all know the Han Solo movie is looking to be a disaster. Delay that movie, and then Abrams should reshoot large portions of the Last Jedi and then release “The Abrams Cut” this time next year. And all you have to bring back for it are Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and Andy Serkis. The editors do the rest.
