Eh, I go with battle tested, Bauer has been through way more. Bourne avoids capture like a weenie, Bauer gets captured, multiple times, to get what he needs done. He knows he can get out of everything.
Bauer also puts the needs of people and the country way ahead of his own. Bourne, not so much.
Now if we're talking about book Bourne, that's a different story.
