Seinfeld and Arrested Development had a great core cast, but they had few developed non-core characters. In fact, the only 2 that immediately spring to mind are Newman and the Bluth Lawyer.

Letterkenny
Parks & Recreation
Cheers

It's always sunny.

Letterkenny never really interested me. I get the appeal.

Worst part is everyone I know who watches it religiously quotes it. Makes it even less interesting.

I tried. Im not a fan of all one liners. Especially Canadian comedy one liners that aren't all that funny.

This was my experience as well

It’s not bad but not all that funny to me

If you got a problem with Letterkenny then you’ve got a problem with and I suggest you let that one marinate.

Newman isn't even the best non core character on Seinfeld

Only 2 Peterman and Frank are the only fleshed-out non-core characters you posted.

So many fleshed out an developed characters.

Gayle, Glenn, Stewart, Roald, Coach

I'm a Letterkenny fan, but it's odd to me you're trying to argue any of the characters are well developed. The ones you mentioned above are all very one note. Gail makes a ton of creepy sex jokes and nothing else, Glen gay jokes and nothing else, coach just yells, etc. It's a funny show, but character development isn't it's strong suit

Gayle is a mama bear about her regular patrons, may be an insurance fraud, and has extremely close relationships with her family.

Glenn started out as a gay joke, then evolved into an obsession with Wayne, who also happens to be a decent philosopher who really seems to care about the heart of Letterkenny.

Coach yells, but he also loves fricking with Riley and Jonesy, is a country club bitch. . .and is lonely since his wife passed.

You also have to remember that there’s only what like 30-40 episodes total...
If it had the normal amount of episodes for a 20 minute show then it would be in like season 2 maybe 3.

With that type of perspective, they character build in Letterkenny better than most other short goofy comedy comparable type shows. They dont character build like GoT or the Wire, but its a short low budget show.
