Just finished watching it. Definitely didn’t hold up to my memory.

Was that the original mix tape though?

It’s been awhile since I watched it, but I do remember the soundtrack being pretty kick arse.

Oh and Doug masters > maverick! Lol

I watched a few weeks ago on Prime and it's 1000 times worse than I remember it being when I was a kid.

I remember the official soundtrack had Queen, Dio, Katrina and the Waves and others. But the song he listens to when they race The Snake wasn't on it.

One of the classics, made my son watch it recently.
There are some old ones he still won’t watch (been pushing Rocky 3 but no luck so far), but he was open to Iron Eagle since Johnny was watching it on Cobra Kai.
Still love it.

Damned Air Force just leaving F-16s parked with the keys still in it for teenagers to take them for a joyride.

Anyway...absolutely loved this movie when I was a kid. Chappy was a good dude.

oh please.
Maverick would scatter the remains of Doug Masters all across the Atlantic without even flinching.

On a side note of 80's kids wartime movies, I watched The Rescue a while back with my kid. I liked that one too as a kid.
