So happy about this.
It should crush because there are really no other animated competition.

I just went to a different Saturday afternoon movie, but it was crazy how many kids and parents were there to see Inc 2. It was pretty clear that they are going to totally clean up this weekend.

I know Pixar is amazing and I’ve personally been wanting this movie for over a decade, but I can’t believe it’s going to have an $180+ million opening weekend

They had signs on the theater doors this afternoon saying that every showing was completely sold out until 10:15 tonight. I can’t even remember that happening with infinity War

Far and away my favorite animated film. People are starving for a family movie.. glad they got one.

I'm having a harder time finding tickets for the Incredibles than I did with infinity war

I know it was a good idea for Father's Day, especially in MO where it was 95 degrees outside, but Sunday afternoon is usually not the busiest time to watch a movie. When we went to the 2:45 pm showing, we got there a few minutes before previews started and had to sit in the front row because it was so full. I've never seen this theater so busy during the daytime.
(great movie btw; completely worth sitting in the front row to see)

Friend of mine went last night. She said that she didn't see a single kid in the showing that she was in.

Really glad this movie killed it

I tried to see Inc 2 on Wednesday at a 2:40 pm showing, and the large theater was packed. The only pair of seats available were in the 2nd row on the far left, a terrible viewing angle. So we gave up and saw something else. But it looks like the numbers are going to continue to rise rapidly for the second week.
