Yeah I don't see the chops at all. I don't think she has an ounce of screen presence either and I think she's an incredible performer as a musical artist. It just doesn't transfer over IMO

Does this board actually believe Gaga is a better actress than Margot?
One is a singer who does an adequate job on screen and the other is one of the better actresses in her generation IMO.
I’m a big fan of Gaga and her ability to act, but Margot is in a different league.

These aren't exactly deep and thought-provoking characters here. One's a piece of plastic while the other is an over-the-top New Yorker with make-up on her face.

I thought she was pretty damn good in A Star is Born.
