I’m about to watch a classic- “Unforgiven”

I remember I took my girlfriend with me to see this in theatre. I was shocked She didn’t like it at all! I couldn’t believe that. It was such a great movie, not your typical western by any means.

There was no romance, and all of the main characters were grizzled old men. It's definitely a guy movie.

Yeah , back then , she was too young to appreciate the moral drama that it was, or she just when in with a closed mind, ya know, it’s a western type of thing. But it was a deep story, not typical western at all. One of my favorites.

Never met a female who enjoys this movie. They all say it's too dark and uncheerful...which it is... And That's what makes it so great...there's no real hero snf there's no happy ending, it shows bad people doing bad things.

It was just a modernized western (ie. more matured themes; not just a cowboys vs. Indians type movie)

Awesome movie, but yea I don't imagine its super popular with the ladies.
