the med school season has no implications on how good the scrubs series was. it takes nothing away from it and it got a bad rap because people couldn't separate it from the original series. it actually got pretty good when it hit it's stride and they phased out the ridiculously enhanced gay version of jd

Well I only watched the first 6 or so episodes and was so mad at the new JD, Turk, and Dr. Cox that I refused to watch anymore and pretended it didn't exist.
If they would have just gone ahead with all new characters it would have been fine; but you can't expect people to separate it from the original show when it still has 3 of the main characters

Elliot: Why is Julie behind that bush crying?
J.D.: Who knows? Could be anything! You know what's interesting Turk, she's not saying that's so sad. She's actually crying
Turk: You're an Idiot
J.D.: Yes I am

Snoop Dogg Intern: Where my hoes at?
J.D.: I haven't seen them.
I like this one cause of the way J.D. says his line. Kind of hard to portray by just typing it out but anyone who remembers this line I think would agree it's a classic one.

Dr. Kelso: Well, it's about time. Hell's bells, son, when I say the name Turkleton, people laugh!
Turk: Maybe because that's not my name.
Dr. Kelso: Not yet, Turkleton! Not yet.
Turk: Maybe because that's not my name.
Dr. Kelso: Not yet, Turkleton! Not yet.

J.D.: The immersion therapy didn't work.
Turk: Dude, relax. I was a Psych minor in college. The next time she says "that's so funny," I want you to pretend she says "that's so money."
J.D.: Oooh. I like that.
Turk: Yeah. It's called a word replacement...ism.
Dr. Cox: This is the dumbest conversation I've ever heard.
Dr. Kelso: You should hear this one.
Elliot: Oh, I remember my first exam with Dr. Matthews. He said "you're very healthy down there." And then I said "right back at'cha." And then there was this weird, little awkward pause, so I said "well, I like to keep a clean shop," and then he asked to see my insurance card. So how did your fertility test go?

I started watching this show again about a week ago on netflix and I'm already through season 1. It's still great even if I've already seen every episode 5 times.
I'll post my favorite quote when I get home

I regret that I've never gotten into scrubs, since I see so many people say how hilarious it is. Roommate is out of town this weekend and it's supposed to be rainy through Sunday. How many seasons is it? I figure I could put a good dent in it on netflix this weekend.
Also, how long does it take to get going? Like with Parks and Rec, it's generally known that the first season is blah and season 2 it really gets going. Is there also a feeling out period with Scrubs?
