Plot: works for shear emperor and conquers the rest of the galaxy for her (deathbird).

He is challenged by the star jammers on a routine squashing mission and a spark of conscience is instilled by Corsair as G captures and imprisons the pirates...

Gladiator begins to "accidently" destroy segments of the empire's military strength until deathbird secretly identifies the disasters are caused by G.

She tricks him into a mission where an encounter with a herald of Galactus is imminent, hoping to destroy him...however, Gladiator allies with the herald bringing him to one of the major beurocratic planets to be eaten.

The herald double crosses Gladiator and it is seen by all that he was plotting to destroy an entire planet of citizens...he is tried and with his spirit crushed, he is willing to go to prison...where Corsair once again commincates morality to him, showing him his error wasn't to physically destroy the empire, but to expose the evil that Death bird has wrought...gladiator is to fight for his life in a death match against Champion, and with the help of the star jammers he cheats and puts the full power of the Champion on death bird...
She flees deposed and Lila DRA is restored as empress...
