You have to start at the worst reality show and expect the rest to fail....american idol....i hate that show

Don't compare LOST to Heroes. Heroes is obviously a POS show that has no redeemable factors. Horrible writing, actors, characters with no personality or motivations, and pretty much everything in between. LOST however will go down as one of the greatest shows ever conceived.
And while I'm not that big of a fan of it, 24 shouldn't be compared to Heroes either. Seasons 1 and 5 were great, saw most of 6 and it was retarded, but have heard that the 7th one is much better than that one.

Then explain why everyone who has kept up with the show now think it is in its absolute prime? The only people who think that it should be cancelled are morons who dropped out during season 2/the beginning of season 3 before they got their end date assigned, and now it is about to be in its home stretch. Pretty much anyone who has seen the Season 3 finale will finish the show (either watching it live, internet, or DVDs) There are only 20 episodes of LOST remaining before the series finale.
People who have kept up with Heroes though have pretty much accepted that their show is absolutely terrible and atrocious. So I'll agree that that show needs to be cancelled.

hit the nail on the head. I'm not quite ready to give up on Heroes yet but I'm getting close.
