I wish movie theaters had intermissions.. for kid's movies

Give us 15 to bring kids to bathroom, refill popcorn, etc

Crazy idea, cut down on the # of showings, but make it more enjoyable for the fans.
Plus milk more from parents to give the kiddies more over priced drinks and junk food.

Funny you say this. I saw yesterday that a theatre in California actually does this for kids movies. Never thought of it as a possibility before then.

I was shocked when I went to Europe and EVERY movie had an Intermission.
People went to the Lobby to drink Coffee, smoke Cigarettes and have a Beer....and I'm not talking about a paper cup, but a glass of beer....of course the bathroom line was like a sporting event at Halftime. Always been a fan of Intermission since I was a kid. Only seen one movie in the US that had Intermission.... The Right Stuff.

I wish all movies had an intermission. I saw The Two Towers in a small little duplex in Arkansas on Christmas Day back in '02 and to my surprise they had an intermission. It was great and very much needed after Christmas lunch
