After Cersei got done with her vengence, she was blowing Jaimie.
Can you imagine what Jon Snow has coming to him once Dany gets back from riding the big strong lizard?

7 & 8 being the weakest depends on how they fare this far past the source material.
I actually that the closer the show gets to the end, the closer it gets back to being GRRM's vision.

What is he trying to avenge? Being lowborn?
Being refused Cat's hand in marriage due to the highborn system at large. His particular targets are the Tullys and Starks, but he considers them all guilty by association. He wants to bring them all down to his level.

Yeah, the only things I look back on fondly from Season 5 are Cersei's and Jon's arcs. The rest was a stunning drop off of quality between Seasons 4 and 5 and made all the more apparent by a return to form in Season 6.
I feel like they tried to end the fifth season where the books left off, which made for a really slow start to the season. That said, it was still fairly eventful compared to the vast majority of what's on TV, and I thought the second half of the season picked up.

No I'm saying that's his play in the show because he was talking about the show

Just came across this: Why "Blackwater" is better than "Battle of the Bastards"

his work is pretty much done
all the great houses and about gone and there's fewer and fewer "nobles" every week
in the show though his story is pretty much over without a curveball, nobody is listening to him, he's stuck in bum frick winterfell, and bran is on to him

Yeah, despite where he's at currently in the show, LF basically won in the end. All the lords mocked him for birth, his size, his holdings, and lack of army, well look at him now. He's got everything.

Agreed. So many good lines in Blackwater as well.
-Hound's raping dead corpse.
-Hound's putting dead women in the ground.
-Hound's frick the king.
-Stannis thousands.
-Tyrion's and Bron on paid friendship.
-Even Sansa's lines were awesome back then trolling Joffrey about not fighting in the vanguard.
Tyrion's "sir Lancel tell the hound to tell the king..."
Tyrion's quarter man.

I mean Jon gets to midfield trying to save rickon. Rickon dies, Jon continues to charge, gets knock off his horse, Stands up, sees 500 charging horses, pulls out his sword. Then slow epic music comes on making you think Jon vs 500 charging Calvary with "this is how I'm going to go out" attitude. Then Jon gets saved.
I didn't think anybody thought he was going to die after being resurrected recently. You should know by then Jon's not a regular person. He was resurrected for a reason and it's not crazy to think he has some kind of divine intervention protecting him.

GOT now: "dont worry about budget OR writing lmao"
It's not their fault they're being forced to write the story instead of GRRM.

I don't doubt Jon has a thick armor. I was just questioning the directing. One second Jon standing by himself, the next all his Calvary is right behind.

You're acting like seemingly impossible stuff doesn't happen in real life.

I wouldn't of mind it if Jon's horse took an arrow, he falls down, gets up, sees and hears 500 Calvary horses coming at him, he pulls out his sword, and then Jon's Calvary shows up to back him.
But we get this slow mo cut, with violin sad ending music as the horses approaching Jon. It cheapens the scene because it's relying on being too dramatic to keep audience's attention. Like you said, Jon isn't dying soon.
On the other hand, the directors used music well to shoot the rickon death scene. Audience wasn't sure if Rickon was going to die. Ramsay was using bow and arrow. So after shooting the arrow, the is a period of waiting as the arrow approaches Rickon. Hit or miss? It builds up the anticipation. But directors don't want audience to see the death shot coming. So what do they do? The one arrow before the death shot, directors used suspenseful music, getting louder as arrow approaches rickon. But it misses. So audience is relieved thinking rickon is safe. So when the death shot happen, there was no music so it shocked the audience.
