"Well it's official, murder is now legal in the state of California..."

Perhaps the single greatest line in live television history.

Followed only by:

"Ya know that Hitler, the more I learn about that guy the more I don't care for him." LINK

Followed by:

" Everybody got blood"

LINK

Followed by every Vince Foster murder joke on Weekend Update:

"The president's a murderer, you didn't know that?" LINK

Norm on the Dennis Miller show is pretty funny. Norm is the best though.

Norm on The View. The women couldn’t comprehend why he was rambling on instead of telling his stories in a quick manner. He drove them insane. They could not understand that his humor was about the rambling, not the story itself.

I guess this is from the first show after the OJ verdict, which means it wasn't even the best line in that segment (see my first reply in this thread)

Today marks the five-year anniversary of Prince's death. Norm told this joke on Weekend Update, many years ago...

In music news, pop-star Prince has changed his name to an unreadable symbol. He asks that media refer to him as “The Artist Formerly Known as Prince.” I will continue to refer to him simply as, “The Fruit.”
