did it ever cross your mind that maybe she wanted him to do "more" because he wasn't doing anything at all compared to his dad's level. perhaps because his top priority was being batman?
This was the part in the movie where I laughed. Bitch I'm not returning your calls for a reason, and now you just tell me how to start spending my money. Back off haha
Movie was decent enough for me, I stayed entertained for the most part. Was a bit to long is my major complaint.

You know if this thread gets anchored. I'm cool with it.

I thought it was subpar. Pattinson was awful. It appeared he was trying to channel Clint's Man With No Name with the constant whispering and subdued responses. Unfortunately, it came across like he had all the emotional range of his former co-star, Kristen Stewart. Plus, all the reports during production that he resisted getting into shape for the role were all too apparent. I just can't take a 175lb Batman seriously. (Frankly, that was one of the biggest drawbacks of the Nolanverse. Bale never looked like Batman to me.) Batman is a hulking brute physically, not a vegan crossfitter.
I do find it interesting that all the self-styled cinephiles on here went into pearl clutching spasms because *gasp!* Batfleck actually killed people no matter how many times it was pointed out to them how many times every other iteration of Batman whacked people. But Patman immolated a whole highway full of innocent drivers and uses guns to shoot people and I haven't seen a peep on here.

I must've missed this. Which scene has him using a gun?

pretty sure that was the penguin's fault.

Some of the henchmen try to shoot him. He grabs the baddie spins him around and shoots another baddie using the first henchman.

you think she'd still be talking to him if he didn't own a multi-billion dollar business? that's cute.
Yes. 100%. She doesn't care about his business. She cares about his money. She is the consummate government official who thinks we all only have money that she allows us to keep.

You’re crazy. His business is the only reason he has money.

It didn't bother me overly much, but as a comic fan it did stick out to me especially after earlier in the movie Gordon making a comment about guns not being his thing.
