re: How much of an F up was "The Half Blood Prince"

I just dont get the unnecessary changes. Why is Harry stupified in the books when Dumbledore dies, and in the movie he just stands there cowering like a baby back bitch? Completely goes against his character to stand idly by.

In the book Harry kisses Ginny in front of everyone after a Quidditch match, not off by themselves where no one can see in the room of requirement. Takes away all the meaning.

I think slughorn should have been more of an out for himself, sniveling, too smart for his own good type of character. instead he got portrayed as a cowering idiot who somehow though his stupidity had all these connections with everyone who's anyone.
