I have never thought about it, but the creators of the show really handcuffed themselves, by telling us the year that Ted is talking to his kids. I guess he really has to get married in Season 8 in order to keep the time going right.

Well they flashed forward 3 years a couple of weeks ago and Ted had a kid, so theyre close to wrapping it up.

Has anybody ever thought maybe the kids Ted is always telling these stories to are not his kids? I kinda think Ted will end up single and the kids are Barney and robins. Just a different take

No, those kids have addressed him as Dad before. Specifically in the pilot.

it's possibly but not gonna happen. pretty sure during the 3 year flash forward a few episodes ago they showed Ted with his kid or holding a kid or something like that. something with ted and a kid, that's for sure.

I think Barney is going to get married to Quinn.
I also don't think we are going to find out anything about Ted. I bet he meets his wife at robins wedding. That would explain why the bride wants to see him. He is her best man.

I've only watched Season 1 but have they revealed who the mother is yet? Also, how long do the kids listen to their father ramble on about the experiences he had with his friends without mentioning their mother? It's been seven seasons. I can't imagine sitting on the couch and listening to my father talk for hours on end which is probably how long the father has been telling all these stories.

They already said in a previous episode that Ted meets his wife at Barney's wedding. So it is def not happening tonight.

Barneys Wedding is supposed to be the second half of this episode so it is very possible

Ya, I'm almost 100 percent sure he meets his wife at Robins wedding. She could get married to Barney, but I doubt it.

Anyway that kid Ted is holding isn't his? I hope it is bc while I like this show a lot they need to wrap it up soon, it has started to fall off
