He made a comfortable living in NYC and was content in his comfort zone. (Same apt, coffee shop, jeans/sneakers, cereal) and his interests were simple (sports, superman, tv, movies)
His biggest personal splurges were taking women out to eat.
He was also obviously raised to be frugal af, which usually sticks.
