How do you tell the difference between Powers Boothe & Stacy Keach?

I'm pretty sure I thought they were the same guy for 30 years. In some strange way, they have melded together into some strange kind of Stacy Booth-Keach-Powers Actor-extraordinaire- amalgamation that specializes in being a nasty piece of work on screen.

Just sayin'.

Stacey Keach narrates American Greed on CNBC. Very underrated program.

I listen to American Greed on my satellite radio at night. He's a badass narrator. Stacy Booth Keach, that is.

I'll admit he looks as similar as his brother (James Keach is at the top) - but, Boothe is a little younger than James, and way younger than Stacy - so, basically, I know them by their roles.

Yup.

Powers Boothe will always be Curly Bill to me. And weirdly enough, the bad guy from Sudden Death (Van Damme movie).

That has to be the only time in the history of the world/cinema where wearing a red sash actually makes you look like a badass and not a puff.

Now that you mention it, they do look pretty similar. Like Ace, I know them by their roles.

He still is Jim Jones to me which is why I hate him in all of his roles.

Powers Boothe is by far the more naturally repulsive.

OTOH, slap mustaches on Brian Dennehy and Stacy Keach, and they're basically the same person. I'd never mistake Boothe for either of them.

Because Stacy Keach never got shot down over the American Heartland fighting the fricken' commies and hooked up with the Wolverines, that's how.

They came into their own around the same time and I can understand the tendency to get them mixed up. One has a hairlip, however, and one does not.
