How did Kenny from South Park come back to life?

The McCormick's kept having babies that they named Kenny. His return in Red Sleigh Down was related to Jesus' death in the same episode.

I don't think that it was ever supposed to make sense. Initially, Stone and Parker wanted a character that they could kill off every episode in a comical way. Eventually this became stale, so they played around with the idea some more (his soul being trapped in Cartman's body, for example).

I think that they were going to do away with the character completely after the fifth season, but they decided to bring him back. If you notice, they don't kill him nearly as often in later seasons.

Just a stupid running gag.

Clones. The McCormick family is involved in many risky experimental medical programs for money.

The best was when Kenny got a girlfriend and every time he died, she'd either save him or revive him.

It's a cartoon! How does Wile E. Coyote survive all of his mishaps? Foghorn Leghorn? Daffy Duck? Why do Popeye and Bluto find Olive Oyl attractive? Is it the spinach or what's in his pipe that gives Popeye superhuman strength?

I like the fact that they have abandoned killing him off in every episode and now only due it periodically...like when he finally got a BJ from the girl who loved the Jonas Brothers and he died from syphilis...
