How can a series straight rip off its title from a show a decade earlier (New Amsterdam)

I remember watching this show that i feel was canceled way too early because it had lost of promise. New Amsterdam
And look, It was way ahead of its time headlining Jaime Lannister.

The promo and basis for the show piss me off so bad I change the channel. "Any department that cares about billing is going to be closed down." Yep. Because hospitals work great without money. I am betting the premise of the show doesn't include doctors working without pay or working for $75k a year. This Progressive BS makes it look like you can run a giant hospital without billing patients. Obamacare part II, you can keep your doctor and your plan and full coverage for everyone and no one will pay more... Trust us.
Shocked the Poli Board hasn't jumped on this yet. Seems like these shows always come around just before a big election since a majority of the population thinks that TV is reality and that something like this could work.
