He offered older north men. After the raven I expect he will fully March. But cregan isn’t super important until the later parts and end of the show. At least in the book I am sure he will have expanded role

I’m surprised they cut out the Vale stop, and Winterfell for that matter.
And I guess they’re going to make it pretty clear that Addam and Alyn are the sea snake’s kids. In the book they’re young enough to pass off as bastard grandkids, but doesn’t look like it here.

They might not be expanding Cregans role and he isn’t a major player until late in the war. I find it very hard to believe they won’t bring the Starks more into this though.

Not bad. But I’ll be the first to say it, I think the story as told in the book would have been a better episode.

Wish they showed blood and cheese as the more cunning and fricked up assassins they were instead of kind of fricking up the whole thing and botching it. They left out some grueling details of the encounter.

I like the episode, but not sure how I felt about the Queen in the Blood and Cheese scene. Just seemed like odd behavior.
Also, I haven’t read Fire and Blood, but the description of the scene in the books just seems better overall.

I don’t believe it was lackluster. It feels like a proper groundwork episode. It wasn’t super riveting or anything but it did the job of putting the pieces where they need to be.

Any secret (or hidden) door / passageway would have gone a long way to show the merit of bringing in the rat catcher.

Yes, but it was supposed to be much worse.
They wrote out Aegon’s youngest son, so I guess thankfully we don’t have to see him get torn apart by a mob later in the series.
They should have opened with Blood and Cheese in the queen’s chamber and played it as a much stronger flex by Daemon
