Still haven't seen the entire movie. But when I was like 10 I woke up at like 11:00pm and I could still here the TV on in the living room. My mom was still awake so I walked in there to watch TV with her until I fell back asleep. Well she was watching Carrie, and when that hand reaches through the stones at the grave sight I jumped and looked at my mom scared shitless. She was sitting there smiling at me because she knew it was coming. Didn't sleep well for a couple nights after that.

It wasn't the movies they played on the show, it was the Goddamned bumper between commercials.
This is an example of the 1970s "Chiller" bumper that caused many a soiled sheet in my bed as a kid.
This six-fingered mofo and his creepy music/ voices...
Shame on my parents for letting a 5 year old see that shite.
I had one vivid nightmare that all these hands were coming up out of the floor of my house and I was running screaming like a banshee.

1. Alien- Chestburster scene fricked me up for months.
2. Poltergeist- something about this clown doll
3. Jaws- I was looking for sharks in fricking swimming pools
4. Nightmare on Elm St.- Because of this
5. The Shining- the twins, frick those twins
Didn't see the Exorcist or Psycho until I was a teenager.

Sybil
This movie traumatized me.
The scene where she tied her legs to the broomstick and hung it from the light fixture. Holy crap. I was too young to know what the Mom was doing, but it still freaked me out.
Oh and the come here Sybil, I'm not going to hit you,.. I'm going to kick you. Yikes.
I saw that movie one time when I was maybe 10 and those scenes are burned in my brain.

Race with the devil(especially the ending scene)
Salems lot
IT
Halloween scared my because of the mask Michael Myers wore. It was so plain but really terrifying as well.

I saw the original When a Stranger Calls when I was eight. I didn't have a good night's sleep for weeks after that.

Dream Warriors was fantastic. One of the best horror movie sequels ever made.
