Still curious about what role Brody plays in all of this.
I'd like to think Brody is working with the CIA to some degree, at least at the Carrie level.
The Venezuela connection is there (with the Iranians), plus his captors know Carrie.

Is David Estes the bomber and still alive?
Posted on 11/10/13 at 10:42 pm to brbengalgal
Estes is dead. He was at the podium when the bomb went off right behind him. AND…he was one of the prime targets given his role in the bombing that killed Abu Nazir's kid.
I think there will be a twist and some main character will be the one who moved the bomb.
I hope I'm wrong, but it would be just like Hollywood writers to have it end up being Quinn.

Well, now we seemingly know that Brody had nothing to do with the Langley bombing.
Of course, Javadi could be lying, hence why I said "seemingly".
I fricking LOVED Saul tonight.
Douchey Senator - "Let me out of here right now!"
Saul - "Make me."
Douchey Senator - "Let me out, Dar! Dar?? DAR???"
Lights out. Saul and Dar smirk.

It can't be Quinn because he said that the person was believed to be dead in the bombing didn't he?
I love me some Quinn so I would hate for that to be true anyway.

Saul is the MAN!
I hope Many Patinkin gets his shot at some awards this time around.

I'm suprised by how people are turned off on this show and not turned off on the walking dead.
I still watch the Walking Dead (Rick annoys me) but for me its falling behind Homeland while American Horror Story is moving up.

loved the episode. I thought the scene with Quinn and the detective was one of the better scenes in the show. his character has really grown on me. Love it when there's a random character like the detective that can come in like that and have such a big impacts in such little screen time.
I wish the Senator was a little less douchey. Seems like he wouldn't be that naïve about how the CIA works and that Saul wouldn't just bend down and take a knee when he waltzes in. I think Dar set the senator up perfectly though. Always wondered whose side it was on. They do a great job of showing how access to information is what drives a lot of these CIA-types' egos.
So, where does it go from here?

I still don't trust Dar. As far as whose side he is on, he is on Dar's dise only I think

Best episode of the season.
Why?
0 minutes of screentime for the Brody family

Just watched Sundays episode. It's a shame the season started off slow because it's kicked arse the last few weeks.
Quinn better not leave the CIA. He's blossomed into a great character.
Really curious who the bomber is. I can't think of any logical character.
Sauls wife is gonna die. I'm afraid that her boyfriend is a bad guy.

Just watched the last episode. That was one of my favorite episodes of the whole series. I was shocked when Dar stayed on saul's side. Guess he realized how badass Saul really is.

Speaking of who could be the bomber, whatever happened to Galvez? Did he get killed in the bombing?
If not I wouldn't rule him out.

He supposedly died.

I remember reading a potential spoiler while they were filming season 3 that stated they thought Galvez was the one who planted the bomb in Brody's car and moved it.
We see Galvez when he is leaving the mill while Carrie and Quinn are searching for Nazir. They freaked out thinking Danny was hiding Nazir in his trunk and sneaking him out. When they stop him he says he is going to get is stitches re-done. I'm not sure how the timeline fits from there but it's possible.
Also Galvez is in the Tailor Shop in Gettysburg when the bomb is stolen and is the only one to shoot and kill someone. Also wasn't Galvez originally not assigned that mission but then asked to go?
Like I said, not sure how the timeline from the Mill to the Bombing stacks up but it's possible.

I can't believe Mira had her boyfriend in their home. Sure they're separated but that seems awfully nervy and disrespectful. I would think that CIA people need to know who is coming in and out of their house.

Was thinking the same. A CIA agent has all the tools necessary to know what their spouse is doing at all times. On the other hand, spying on his wife would go against everything Saul stands for.

his wife is ugly as shite. Head of the CIA can do better.

Saul was a boss in this episode, he just needs to kick that whore to the curb and he would be batting 1000

I think there's a little more to it. Dar is old school CIA like Saul. He realizes the plan was completely brilliant and the respect he has for Saul is showing through.
It seems they're putting douchey senator guy in the same boat as the former VP. Make mainstream politicians look like uninformed doofuses.
This show seems really anti-droneish. I also think they are hell bent on making a statement on civilian casualties caused by spy games.
