Solid list indeed

overall a really good list, i agree there are a few head scratchers, but for the most part they nailed it. i agree that vertigo is way too low. fwiw titanic absolutely deserves to be where it is on the list.

Please keep in mind, people, that this is Hollywood's favorite film list. This isn't a composition of the films they think are the greatest of all-time. Just films they personally enjoy watching on a daily/weekly basis.

Considering this is Hollywood, I'm surprised it didn't make the top 10

"The Godfather" was good, but I can't say it was the greatest movie of all time. It was built up too much for me by these types of lists, and it didn't live up to those expectations. And like many have said, "Vertigo" is too low. And I don't understand the love for the movie Seven. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't top 100 all time. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

If you're going to put comedy's in there, how do you leave that off?

It's Hollywood's favorites so I guess it would have been surprising if Brazil were on there.

But no Cool Hand Luke?

I'll be the first to say it...Vertigo is criminally low.

Vertigo shouldn't be in the list at all. Most overrated crap in history. I could count the ways.

We will agree to disagree. Vertigo is a masterpiece.
