Bummer. I liked season 1 and was curious to see what season 2 would've looked like now that they were beyond the book and movie. If anyone is interested it is still a good 1 season watch imo and Zoe Kravitz was very good as the lead.

It was pretty fricking terrible.
What’s funny is that the second season might’ve been decent, because they pretty much exhausted the source material as you mentioned.
When they were blatantly recreating the same scenes as the movie you couldn’t help but compare it to that, and because the movie is just so goddamn good you’d be wondering why you were even watching the tv show, and should instead turn on the movie.
However, there were a couple of moments where the show stepped outside of the source material and created something new & original. If the second season could’ve given us more if that it might’ve been worth it, but I can’t say I’ll miss it either.

Am I the only one who thinks she's a horrific actress?

Yes
But I have been crushing on her mom since Cosby Show so she is like a time machine for me.
This is on our list for when we pick Hulu back up

See I'm convinced that the folks who like her think it's actually Denise Huxtable

Probably. Can’t think of anything she was bad in.

It's like when they did that Animal House TV show and had about 3 actors from the movie...
Or Ferris Bueller TV show...
I mean, what's the point, just watch the movie.

I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure where else it can go. They pretty much covered the whole movie in the first season.

And I just learned that Zoe's mom is married to Jason Momoa

Damn, I thought it was awesome, this sucks.
Agreed, I actually hated the way it ended and didn't like where they were taking things.
