Warhammer 40k is a heavily satirical yet earnest look at humanity in the far future where humanity has regressed to the point all hope for the future of humanity is lost. All that’s left is a brutal theocratic totalitarian regime that only sustains itself by constant war against the horrors of the galaxy.

You’d think after the Witcher crashed and burned, writers would learn to be faithful to the source material but Hollywood can’t help itself.

They shouldn’t though. He knows the source material better than them.
It’s that the Netflix writers were full of themselves in 2022 and deep in the idea that they could write in whatever they want. Now they’re losing their leverage and they have to give in. Amazon also made this deal with Cavill knowing that he would have creative control after how Witcher went awry
