What a horrible episode of HK.
Man, frick those fashion people--and they are stretching it out to TWO episodes.

I'm so proud of Christine on Master Chef!

What the hell do the fashionista's know about food, all they do is diet and puke. I agree food needs some spice but they could have found more qualified judges. Big Kimmie is gonna lose it on somebody and it won't be pretty.

hells kitchen seems to be like america's next top line cook. They cook the same 2-3 things over and over. Scallops, chicken, and maybe lamb chops. And its always cooked RAWRRR!

I'm so tired of hearing her sob story. I highly doubt her food is as good as they say it is.
I'm rooting for Becky and Josh. for some reason, becky just does it for me.
as far as HK goes, i HATE the fat bitches Tiffany and Kimmie. I almost puked when Kimmi walked the catwalk, but then i sat back and marveled at the fantastic engineering of that platform as it was able to support her massiveness.

Yes, Becky and Josh seem to be great cooks as well. Monty seems to have talent too.
How can you say that about Christine? I'm sure we can't even imagine how hard it is for her.

I think they are playing the "look how good the blind girl is doing" card a little too much. I'm sure she is a great cook; far better than i will ever be, but i just question how she can possibly be effective in group challenges. I dunno, it seems like fox is playing for ratings, and i just dont like it. and fwiw, i thought her apple pie looked like shite.

...i'd love to see you even form an apple pie blindfolded.

do i get someone to be my eyes? i'd like to give it a try.
Posted on 6/20/12 at 10:12 am to Displaced
That is ridiculous. It is a huge accomplishment and should be applauded.
Why don't you go try and make a meal blindfolded-- including chopping something and deep frying something and see how grateful you feel to be able to see.
good grief, some people are so heartless

My point is that her blindness should not be considered. she should not get special consideration because she is blind and i think she is.
not my point at all. I know her stuff is Amazing considering her handicap, but i wanna know how it compares to the other contestants when you disregard her blindness.

Evidently she's very good, Gordon Ramsey wouldn't let her slide with mediocre food or technique. She hasn't burned anything and her fried items were cooked well. She's gotten praise from her fellow competitors as well. Ryan was trying to get rid of her because he considers her a threat. he also tasted her food and said it was good.

She had cubed apples in her pie because she cant slice them... huge error that was not mentioned.
panco crusted sweetbreads??? not even remotely challenging. I dont think they are holding her to the same standard. Not being rude, not being mean, simply trying to respect the rules of competition.

Who cares if they were cubed as long as they tasted good and frying to perfection is not as easy as you think.
If you lost your eyesight, I'm sure you would whine to some degree. Especially with such uncaring people in this world who can't be bothered with people who have disadvantages through no fault of their own.

Is Christine blind? I haven't heard them mention it on the show.
Oh and July 5 7:30pm, Gordon Ramsay Steak @ the Paris. The Wellington will be mine.

Who here thinks that it will eventually come out that Christine is not 100% blind? I think that.
That being said, that crab ceviche cocktail thing she made looked amazing.
I think she'll stay on the show until she really shits the bed two or three weeks in a row (if they let her do that). She makes for good television, just like the black girl on HK last season. And she's not unattractive, either. The blonde chick who won last year also wasn't ugly.
That's how reality TV works.

Hope you like raw dough and blue steak.

Lemme know who the head chef is so i don't have to watch HK any more this season.

Maybe she has been deemed legally blind, but I don't think the chick is totally blind.

I think her "handler" is a really good chef and is doing all the work while Christine basks in the glory.

'MasterChef' sensation Christine Ha: Totally awesome, not totally blind
I'm pulling for Christine. She's a sweetheart and a good cook.
On another note the editing of the show is sloppy and too obvious (seeing people react, but not what they're reacting to). Guess all reality shows are that way though.
