I loved Band of Brothers and the Pacific but being a pilot I was even more excited when I heard Hanks was doing a 3rd series on the 8th Air Force bombing Germany but it’s been expected for years now and still nothing.

Personally, I would prefer a series similar to John Adams. The American Revolution has always been my favorite time period.

In October 2020, Cary Joji Fukunaga was announced to be directing three episodes of the series, with filming set for a March 2021 start in London.[7]

It's getting closer to reality, can't wait unless COVID pushes it back.

I really liked Thou Shalt Grow Old about WW1

It's hard to do American Revolution justice but John Adams was very good.

Tom Hanks is too busy hiding in Greece since he’s been outed as a pedo

Idiots like this just love to crawl out from the dark.

You have to wonder if they're really stupid and ignorant enough to believe the shite they post?

I imagine the movie would have had a much different feel were that the actual title.

I have always like air combat movies so I hope it gets made and is excellent.

This trailer (youtube) for it came out in 2013. I hope they've made some headway.

Hanks has a new western coming out in December. News of the World. Trailer looks good. Based on a popular novel by a Texas author.

As has been posted in other threads, a civil war version of band of brothers following both sides would be amazing.

If they followed their usual pattern, they would remake 12 O'clock High, then make "The Mighty Eighth" as a 10-part HBO series.

In all seriousness, the 8th suffered half of all USAAF casualties of WWII. Daylight strategic bombing over Germany, occupied France, Belgium and Holland was something only Americans were crazy enough to stick with.

Tom Hanks
wish he would do a limited series in the form of a mockumentary about "The Burbs". See how life for Ray Peterson, Art and Rumsfield is today. Visit Hans Klopek behind bars.

Revisit how he and his neighbors caught the Klopecs etc.. Have it go into thrm and their murders too..Done right would be awesome.

If I were a producer, I'd make a spin-off about Speirs as the Punisher.
