Not to mention his earlier stuff like The Basketball Diaries, Quick and the Dead, Titanic, etc.

What's eating Gilbert Grape might still be his best performance

I think Mike Sullivan was the producer who brought Leo onto Growing Pains. We need to thank him for finding a future actor who spring boarded his career into making some incredible movies.

Schwarznegger, Tom Cruise, and Harrison Ford from about the mid 80s to the mid or even late 90s all had tons of hits.

I wish we could go back to those days of the summer blockbuster instead of the remake and sequel slop we get now.

Regarding DiCaprio, I will add This Boy"s Life to the list.
Excellent film and DeNiro was great in it.

This is an insane 13 year stretch.

That's 17 years.

Catch Me If You Can and Gangs of New York were released in 2002; Once Upon a Time in Hollywood came out in 2019.

I'm talking 10 years.

Ahh. So to cut it down...

Gangs of New York
Catch Me If You Can
The Aviator
The Departed
Blood Diamond
Body of Lies
Revolutionary Road
Shutter Island
Inception
J. Edgar
Django Unchained

That's still imo a better movie stretch. He didn't get the Academy wins Hanks got but the movies run was crazy.

Not one person has mentioned how great Hanks was in Bachelor Party. It set the stage for him to get the role in Splash & that was his first big box office hit.

Honestly, this is a legit list. Most could've only been done with Sandler, as opposed to Hank's list.
