Damn after the last few years where they continually ended seasons by having someone else be the person to step up, it was nice seeing Nick go all John Wick for the last 5 minutes.
Also the splinter of the true cross or whatever, um yeah it essentially making you unkillable is a pretty big step up from healing stick. Though it does undercut the suspense of the final scene a bit-- I mean, Renard's got a sword but he's basically going against Wolverine at this point.

From now on that's the kind of heroism I want to see from nick

Just watched the finale, great episode(s).
God I hope not.

Now next season we will have to suffer through the "does Nick choose Juliet or Adalind" bullcrap drama.

I see Kelly's power as FORCING a Wesen to reveal him/herself around him (mixture of his Grimm and Hexenbiest heritage)

Guarantee that nick will lose it to begin next season. Probably to Renard. I mean he already lost his super grim ability. Or they have just downplayed it

Finally got to the watch the finale. Had a feel of a reset but here is how i see the show standing:
1) Black Claw is still around, but mostly eliminated from Portland. Does the show move to a more global show chasing Black Claw
2) Eve is no more and we now have a powerless juliette - not sure how i feel about this one. Never a fan of Eve except her powers and her acting was terrible.
3) Renard has picked sides and became mayor, but lost his entire support cast. Does he try to reconcile with Nick (can't happen) or does he recruit Black Claw to portland?4) Diana - what the hell are they going to do with this girl. Renard loast his support cast, but Diana is not going to let anything happen to him or Adalind.
5) Does Adalind teach Diana that Nick is a friend and not a threat?
6)Wu - no way that there is not a video catching him go all caveman werewolf in the station. He can't go back to the precinct.
It was interesting to me that Hank was basically taken out of the last two episodes, but this looked to give Nick the spotlight and make this all about him.

I heard an interview with the actor that plays Wu.
He originally auditioned for the Hank role. They preferred the black guy for Hank but loved him in the audition. They producers created the Wu because they wanted to find a role for him.
And he studied up on cromagnan(sp?) man in prep for his new powers.

Apparently she's still Eve but with feelings now according to this interview
quote:
TVLINE | Eve showing signs of Juliette returning: What can you tell me about what’s really going on?
GREENWALT | Well, the feelings have come back.
KOUF | The stick opened up part of her. There are unintended consequences to the use of that stick. So, just like everything else.
GREENWALT | There’s part of her that was dead, that she had killed, that they had killed. Suddenly it was awakened. And because she’s a Hexenbiest, it had a super effect. So we’ll have to see what happens with the Eve side of her personality and now having all these feelings, which is going to include a lot of guilt. It’ll be complex.

Have to downplay it or most of the fights are pointless. Hell, even the last one would have been a hell of a lot less suspenseful if turned out all the lights and just had brief flashes of gunfire as he executed everyone in the dark. (which admittedly sounds pretty freaking awesome now that I think about it and would be a lot easier/cheaper to shoot)
The last fight was pretty super though he killed about a dozen guys in close quarters before being hit even once.
