Ultimately, it's not very good...I'd say decent at best. And it's a shame it's being compared to Ghostbusters II in that other thread, because a) they aren't on the same level at all, and b) they are basically different genres.
But I did like how it went way over the top on purpose and didn't take itself seriously. It's basically a spoof film. And the K&P sketch about it is great.

I haven't seen it in a very long time, but I recall liking it when I was a kid because they showed more Gremlins with different personalities.
Even though I haven't seen it in a really long time, I can at least say it's a lot better than a lot of part 2 movies that comes out.

It's pretty incredible. They knew it was a spoof movie and ran with it. That would never happen nowadays. They would just make a similar movie like the first one.
