Season 4 is now on Netflix. You're welcome.

Great show. Didn’t one of the judges retire?

I’ll have to check it out

The show kinda split into two different shows if I'm getting my GBBS/BBC drama correctly. I think Paul Hollywood is still on the original show though.

Yes. Hollywood is still on the original but if I recall the two comedian ladies left over a contract dispute? Or it moved to a different channel and there was some sort of dispute. Mary Berry also left after that as well. My wife and I just laugh at how nice and polite everyone is. Opposite of a show like chopped

whenever i'm in a stressed mood and want to chill, i put on this show. it's shockingly calming for some reason (even with the inherent conflict)

i'm sad that i know this, but it's not that

the GBBS was bought by another network (Channel 4) for big $

they offered all the hosts big $ to come over but only the douche Paul Hollywood went. the others stayed with the BBC

it's not that Mary, et al "left". it's more than they wanted to stay loyal to the BBC and its viewers

I remember an episode where one of the contestants was sick and couldn’t bake and people were crying about it. They felt really bad for her. On an American show they’d be like “Sorry bitch, you’re out, go home and die.”

And added in overly dramatic music and ticking clocks like they're defusing a bomb. The difference in Gordon Ramsey on American and British Kitchen Nightmares is a really good example.

Been watching that show for a few years now. I may have even made a few posts about it here. Good show.
