She is easily the worst character in the show, and it was pretty obvious they had no idea what to do with her toward the end of the season. It's like they just wrote a storyline for her because they were going to have to pay her anyway.
ETA: She wasn't even the most interesting character or best actor on her prison island even thought she was the only character we knew.

Going to miss Jerome, he really took this show to the next level. I just hope the other villains can pick up where he left off.

It wasn't hysterical overreaction. In the first half of the season she was cheesy over the top and terrible. I will admit that I did find her to be more tolerable when she was down and out in the prison on the island and fighting her way back to get home.
I said tolerable, I still would rather her not come back on the show.

I actually tried watching season 1 as it aired but after 2 scenes with fish, I quit. I should try again if it gets better.

Yep, the new commissioner fired a bunch of the corrupt cops off the force, and made Jim his second in command. Then Penguin was dressing down the crime lords of Gotham, telling them that basically they would all work together and no one could kidnap or kill anyone with running by him first. And that's when the black chick butted in, and forced him to meet that guy.

I went back and watched S1, overall I thought it was good. Totally different than what movies/shows usually show. To me it watches like a comic book or story boards which I think is kinda unique. The characters are shown before they become there hero/ villain characters. The sets look good, wardrobes and music fit nicely too. S1 has some down side, but all that looks like it has been posted.
S2 is rolling along nicely, the Joker was cool to see. And catwoman...16... dayum she's cute.
