Still trying to get into the books, though I like how they're written like that.

She has some great scenes at the end of the second season

her thoughts are so funny...she thinks she's a genius in a world of fools when it's the other way around

Watching S2, E2 "Night Lands":

- Still not a big fan of the Ros scenes. She just doesn't do much for me as a character in the series.

- I can't bring myself to fast forward through the Intro. One of the best in TV.

- Love how well Tyrion and Bronn play off each other. Great casting there. Same with Arya and Gendry.

- Still can't get over that Alfie Allen (Theon) is the subject of this song. His scene with his sister riding to the castle still sufficiently creeps me out though.

Wouldn't be as creepy if his sister was hot.

^^^^ That's awesome.

And I'm not in the "complaining about Ygritte" camp. I think she's perfect.

I never pictured her as unattractive reading either, so I don't get the knock on her. I think she's pretty well perfect for the role.

Great end to the 2nd episode too with Craster offering up his sacrificial boy then knocking Jon out.

I saw the show before reading the book, but I interpreted the book version of her to be a pretty average girl with red hair and janky teeth.

Yeah... maybe the teeth thing - But she's got the stubby little nose and all.

Rose Leslie, at least in costume/on set, isn't overwhelmingly "pretty" to me. She's a quirky kind of attractive. That's how I pictured her reading personally. That's just me though.

Hate to be that guy, but I haven't read the books. And while what you're talking about now doesn't bother me at all, I just don't want this to turn into a comparison to the book thread.

This post was probably unnecessary, just wanted to let that be known

Didn't get to watch an episode yesterday. I'll double up tonight

Just watchdd S2, E3: "What is Dead May Never Die".

This may be one of my favorite episodes of the season. You get a solid taste of Tyrion's brilliance with his deception of Pycelle. Yoren ( ) lays groundwork for Arya's nightly prayer. Theon is "reborn" as a Greyjoy. Our introductions to Brienne of Tarth and Margery Tyrell. Just a whole lot of all around badass.

Just finished the 2nd episode, about to watch the 3rd.

I really feel bad for Theon. His dad is a dick. Hard to blame him for what he does later

The 2nd episode was also the beginning of Arya becoming one of my favorite characters. I also forgot how much I liked Sam
