GOT S8 E2 - Smartest person I've ever met, which woman is it going to be this time??

Let me guess, you’re one of those people that thinks this show is overrun with feminism but can’t actually back up your argument?

Literally one person, her own sister at that, said she was the smartest person she knew. You guys are acting like the whole main group of characters were praising her intelligence the entire episode.

I rewatched it yesterday and almost thought Arya was being a little flippant/sarcastic when she said this.

But it’s still one line from one (biased) character. It doesn’t have to make sense. If it was multiple characters, many of which didn’t like her, saying this then it wouldn’t make sense.

I’ve never seen a criticism of a fictional character trigger so many white knights of this magnitude.

I don’t care if someone criticizes Sansa. I don’t even like her character or think she’s actually really smart. My whole point is this is being blown way out of proportion. There have been so many threads and posts on this one line. People are acting like she was being widely praised by everyone on the show when it was just one line by her sister.

And I made that feminism mention because of that thread last week complaining about how it was somehow overtaken the show and OP sarcastically mentioning smart woman.
