Am I off in wondering why Jaime had the scorpion with him traveling? Wouldn't it be left in KL for an expected attack? Or are we assuming they have more than one?

I'd say you're off. Pretty sure Jamie told Bronn, "the company's scorpion is over there" (paraphrased). That implies that each company might well have one, at the very least.

EDIT: DUMB frickING QUESTION. Of course, Arya knows about Catelyn and Robb. She did murder all the Freys, didn't she?

Still, why'd she ask which Lady Stark was in charge? Robb's wife was a Lady Stark, but if Arya knows about Catelyn and Robb getting whacked at the Red Wedding, she'd know about Talisa, too. Bran and Rickon wouldn't have been married, so the only possibility that Arya had for Lady Stark would have been Sansa, right? So, why ask?

I took that as Arya being slightly cautious, especially given that she thought the Boltons still had Winterfell until Hotpie told her otherwise.

Jaime had the single most fearsome reputation as a sword fighter in all the Seven Kingdoms at the start of the series, and it was well deserved. Only Barristan, the Hound, and the Mountain (to some extent) frightened Jaime. As far as he was concerned or aware, those were the only people who stood a chance against him.

I'm seeing a lot of past tense words in there. Words like "had" "was" "deserved" etc.

Jaime is no longer the best sword, Barristan is dead, Mountain was never a great swordsman but his sheer size made up for that, the Hound is the only one you're right about.

But Jon Snow now has the reputation of the best in Westeros. Idk why it's so hard for you people to admit that.

The only person that can live in the past is Bran.

Maybe dead birds will attack it? Dead giant grabs one? I doubt the Night King has a huge dragon bow

Scanned through thread and didn't see anyone mentioned Sansas reaction to learning Aryas new ability.

Maybe the show creators didn't intend it but Sansa looked pissed. But I don't know why. I got the impression she saw Arya as a threat.

She looked jealous because while she was a useless hostage, arya was anything but

He said "Qyburn's scorpion"

There were tons of fantastic examples of facial expression acting in this episode, one of my favorites is when Jaime tells Bronn where the scorpion is and Bronn looks at him like he's lost his mind. "Well go and get it then"

Bran and arya are valuable. She is not. She is going to return littlefinger's affection. She is just like cerseii. She's not as bright as she thinks she is

Huh...I guess you're right. I heard it as "company's" last night when I watched.

Still doesn't necessarily imply that it's the only one in existence.

I mean if that's true this is huge.

So much for their new homecoming. Sansa is sowing displeasure with both Jon and Arya.

But based off what he's done in the show, I'd put him in the top 5. Not above the Hound or Ser Barristan or a healthy and whole Jamie. But he'd take Tormund and Brienne to the wire.

Well, I don't think that Ser Barristan counts, as he's dead in the show, and as you said Jaime is missing a hand. Does it really make sense to compare him to people who are no longer as good as they once were?

more of just a shock. Surely she has heard of the Fray's being mascaraed, now she is connecting the dots. Think if you just figured out that your little sister is John Wick

Ramsay I know has. The fact that if he wasn't that good of a swordsman he probably wouldn't have been KotN. I would like for you to point out to me where in the books it says he's just average. I don't remember that.

I don't keep up with all that's talked about in these threads but I don't remember seeing anyone bring this up.

Can't the Night King bring back some dragon's for himself?
