I've noticed a few comments this season in reference to long-term food supplies - I think that's the grim endgame. They ultimately defeat the Night King, but all eventually starve.

I was glad that Widow's Wail got mentioned because the Valyrian swords have a huge role to play in the future.

Jaime--Widow's Wail
Brienne--Oathkeeper
Jon--Longclaw
Sam--Heartsbane

IMO Jaime, Brienne, and Jon will wield those swords against the White Walkers and Night King. I can't picture Sam wielding Heartsbane so I imagine another character will be given it to use by Sam during the final battles.

My prediction is viserion gets clipped by pycell's big bow, 1 down, 2 to go

Rhaegan gets clipped by the ice king next season and turns into an ice dragon

Drogon gets clipped killing his brother the ice dragon in the great battle

Am I the only one in here who likes Euron as a villain?? I love how Pilou and Nikolaj play off of each other; you can just tell how much disgust and disdain Jaime has for Euron and the Ironborn.

Now that Jorah and Sam have a bond, would be fitting if he was the one to wield it.

Nope. He's great. His WWE entrance into the battle at the end of last episode was legendary. He's the most badass new character we've had in a very long time. Maybe since Bronn.

I think Euron reminds Jaime of himself...and he hates him even more for it.
Yeah, I can appreciate Euron as a good villian...his costume is still a big steaming pile of WTF? though.

I can't stand Euron. Joffrey and Ramsay were better villains and great actors. Euron looks like he'd be in frickin My chemical romance.

Good episode tonight.

Reminded me of Capt. Chaos from Cannonball Run.

I loved Dom Deluise.

Yep. There is no way jons stabbing gets brought up twice without this being revealed to dany. So either she sees it on their wedding night, or she makes him strip for some weird reason, or he has his shirt off at some point in the mines. That story is coming out. It has to.

Thing is, Book Euron has the potential to be a worse, more despicable POS than Ramsay or Joffrey.

Show Euron didn't exist until far too late. There's no time to build him into what could have been an epic villain.

There were other options. Euron could have attacked that fleet when they were returning to Dragonstone. It would have been more believable and had the same effect.

Euron should have been introduced in Season 5. In fact the Ironborn storyline should have taken the place of the horrible Dorne storyline, and we could have gotten Victarion as well. Euron in the books is built up as an endgame villain and is one of the more evil characters on the show. The TV show version IMO is pretty good, but is nothing like the book Euron. In fact, the TV show character is more like Victarion.

Jorah gets my vote.

Don't know how much it will ultimately matter as, though. They are getting plenty of dragon glass to for weapons to use against the walkers.

When collect warlocks and feed them their own flesh, guess that is pretty twisted.
