The Winterfell scene was retarded and felt like Jon and Sansa were just kind of improv bull shitting in front of the Northern lords.
not really. they have to build the current world of winterfell. jon just cant peace out and then have all of this dramatic tension over where peoples allegiances lie come out of thin air. there needs to be legitimate disagreement over the way things are run there for that dramatic tension to come about in an organic and believable way
quote:

Nymeria scene was dumb Arya is a fricking warg that wolf wouldn't have walked away
thats one way to look at it, another way is that it shows us taht nymeria is still around and that just because nymeria doesnt come with arya now, it doesnt mean that they show cant go back to the pack of wolves for pay off down the road when the real battle begins. also, it drives home how different arya is now than she was
quote:

Eunuch sex and then the big pay off battle was just a dud. Whole thing felt lazy.
sure, the grey worm scene was awful. we all agree. i disagree with the battle however

it feels "lazy" because a lot of table setting happened. but that has to happen right now. even in a shortened season. it sucks but it is what it is

I'm just wondering why Arya said it wasn't her.

I think it was Nymeria. I believe Arya said" its not you" meaning that the wolf didnt want to go back to Winterfell. It wasnt Nymerias home?

There's a correlation between each dire wolf and who they belong to. I think they were showing that with Nymeria, too much has happened and she's not the same anymore. Which is exactly what has happened with Arya

Which is why I can see her going back to her mission south. She may see it as a sign that she will never go back home

Euron is a bad motherfricker, apparently.

The long Grey worm sex scene assured me that he's going to die a horrible death very soon That was the show's way of trying to connect us to him one last time.

Missandei is hot fire.

Dany and Jon on a collision course at last. That's exciting.

Nymeria is fricking massive. I hope there's more to her than just that scene. I couldn't hear what Arya said - was it "That's not her?" I think I see what they're going for with that line but it didn't really work, IMO.

She showed them like 3-4 seasons ago

She might be the best looking girl on the show tbh

No...

Nymeria has grown into a leader of a huge pack.

She's changed like Arya has.

True, but Arya was closest to Jon Snow out of the Starks.

Him being KITN might be enough to pull her back to Winterfell.

3rd worst episode of the series

It set up Jon going meet Dany, Arya going home, Sam possibly curing Jorah, and a Nymeria return. Showed Dany and co's war plan. And finished with Euron killing shite in an awesome battle scene. Do some of you just watch shows to find something to bitch about? Only bad thing was the ridiculously long "sex" scene.

I'm with you. Nothing wrong with this episode at all save for one lengthy sex scene, and even that had fine arse Missandie naked.

Some of you are already forgetting how shitty it was when Dany was in Mereen.

This

Episode was pretty good imo.

Some parts were extremely frustrating while we were watching it. Grey Worm/Misandei had two redeeming qualities, but not enough to justify screen time.

Did anyone think the CGI on Nymeria looked off?

I did like the ending scene. I'm even interested to see what happens with Reek now. I know some people will say they ruined the story line, but I think it actually makes sense that he's still affected by the torture and that he won't go back to it, even if it's not an 'epic' tv moment.
