It is odd. I can kind of understand not knowing rhaegar because he is only mentioned never shown, but i cannot believe people think Ned is still Jons father

Almost every time Lyanna was mentioned it was in the same breath as Rhaegar. In the flashbacks Arthur Dayne was clearly wearing Targaryen symbols on his armor. Ever since season 1 they have been talking about Roberts rebellion and how Rhaegar took/ran off with Lyanna. People are just terrible at paying attention to the story.

also, remember when the red woman saw Arya, she looked into her eyes and said she saw her shutting (killing) all different color eyes. Then she told Arya, we will meet again.

It's funny that when it's all said and done, Ygritte was right all along - to this point, Jon Snow knows nothing.
Though speaking of Melissandre, why hasn't her kingsblood detector gone off when she's been around Jon? I assume that it's all been means-to-an-end bullshite, previously.

That whole scene reminds me of her being a Disney evil queen villain. Love it.

I have this image of Brienne and Pod, Brotherhood w/Sandor, Melisandre and Arya all coming together at a crossroads next season. They all kind of know each other in various combinations.

That scene, when the Starks welcomed Robert to Winterfell, was the only time in the show's history, all 7 of the Starks were in the same scene at once
